Rohit Sharma dismissed the accusation, urging cricket experts like Inzamam to use rationale. He explained that dry pitches and daytime matches naturally lead to reverse swing. Ahead of the T20 World Cup semifinal against England, Rohit responded:
“What response am I going to give? The ball will reverse itself if you are playing in the sun and the wickets are this dry. Every team is reversing the ball. not only for ourselves. It’s necessary to occasionally use your head and keep an open mind. You need to comprehend the context of our game. Neither Australia nor England will see us perform.”
